Jaw crusher (also known as jaw break or tiger mouth) is a widely used crushing equipment in industries such as mining, metallurgy, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy and chemical engineering. It is mainly used for coarse and medium crushing of ores and large block materials. Its core characteristics include simple structure, sturdy and durable, large crushing ratio, and convenient maintenance. The equipment simulates the chewing action of animal jaws, consisting of a movable jaw plate and a fixed jaw plate to form a crushing chamber. It periodically compresses and splits the material to achieve efficient crushing.
The motor drives the belt and pulley, which causes the movable jaw to move up and down via an eccentric shaft. When the movable jaw rises, the material is squeezed and split; when the movable jaw descends, the crushed material is discharged from the discharge port by its own weight. This process is carried out periodically to achieve continuous crushing.
