The high-efficiency deep cone thickener is a new type of equipment used for solid-liquid separation. It is suitable for the high-concentration concentration of minerals in concentrators and can also be used for the concentration of fine and low-density slurry and wastewater treatment. The tank body is in the shape of a vertical conical bucket, with the height of the tank much greater than the diameter. The slender tank body enables the flocculant to fully contact the material, significantly shortening the concentration time and improving the treatment efficiency.
The high-efficiency deep cone thickener is mainly composed of a circular thickening tank and a rake-type sludge scraper. The pulp settles in the pool. The clear water overflows from the upper edge of the pool. The settled sludge is scraped by the sludge scraper to the center of the pool bottom and discharged from the ore outlet.
The deep cone thickener, also known as the paste thickener, in addition to having the characteristics of a high-efficiency thickener, also features a deep cone, which is much taller than other thickeners.
