The peripheral drive rake type concentrator is a slurry concentration equipment based on the principle of gravity sedimentation. It mainly consists of a circular inclined bottom pool, a rotating rake and a transmission mechanism. It is suitable for concentrate concentration and tailings dewatering in mineral processing plants and is widely used in metallurgy, coal, chemical and water treatment fields.
The raw pulp enters the feeding cylinder in the center of the tank along the feeding pipe, and the solid particles gradually settle to the bottom under the action of gravity. The clarified liquid overflows from the upper annular weir, while the sediment is scraped to the central ore discharge funnel by the rotating rake blades and discharged by the pump. When the rake blades are in motion, they exert pressure on the sediment, which helps to squeeze out the water from it and improve the concentration effect.
Structural composition: Main beam (working bridge) : connects the central support and the traveling end beam, and supports the transmission mechanism and the rake arm. Central support and collector: Composed of a fixed support seat, a slewing bearing and a frame, it bears axial force, radial force and overturning moment.
Drive unit: It includes an electric motor, a reducer and a transmission mechanism, which drives the rake arm to rotate.
Sludge scraping and collection device: Composed of a rake arm and rake blades, it is used to scrape and collect sediment. Scum scraper, flow stabilizing cylinder, bar, overflow device, etc. : Auxiliary equipment, improving treatment effect.
