The heavy-medium shallow bath separator is a trough-type separation equipment that works based on the principle of flotation and sinking of materials with different specific gravities in heavy-medium suspension. After preliminary screening, raw coal enters the separation tank, where materials are separated in the tank filled with heavy-medium suspension. The lighter materials rise to the liquid surface and are discharged from the discharge end under the combined action of horizontal flow and coal discharge wheel. The high-specific-gravity materials that sink to the bottom are lifted to the discharge outlet by the gangue scraper, thus obtaining two products with different specific gravities.
